Dennis — Lloyd Petlock, 84, of Dennis, died January 26, 2013 after battling an unexpected illness.

Lloyd was born in Ripon, Wisc. I to the late, Joseph and Viola Petlock. Growing up in Wisconsin, he graduated from Ripon High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division. He served in the paratroopers being stationed in both the USA and Japan. After receiving his honorable discharge in 1952, he attended the University of Wisconsin graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1956.

He began his career in the paper industry in Neenah, Wisconsin and then moved to New York City where met and married his wife of 53 years, Doris (Kettner) Petlock. Lloyd spent 38 years as a salesman in the paper industry in New York City before “retiring” to Cape Cod in 1995. Not one to enjoy sitting still, he spent his retirement years working full time as a bellman at Wequassett Resort in Chatham, and volunteering at Cape Cod Hospital. He also enjoyed playing and watching golf, going to the beach and watching his favorite sports teams including the Green Bay Packers and a conflicting devotion to the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees!

He is survived by his wife, Doris Petlock of Dennis; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and John Hollinger of Windham, N.H.; two grandchildren, Justin and Jenna Hollinger of Windham, N.H.; a son, Kyle Petlock; two sisters, Evelyn Cotter of Markesan,Wisc. and Caroline Wesner of Oshkosh, Wisc. and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by a sister, Beverly Keating of Princeton, Wisc.

ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be on Wednesday, February 6, from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Doane, Beal and Ames Funeral Home, 729 Route 134, South Dennis. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 7, at 10 a.m. at Doane, Beal and Ames Funeral Home, followed by a committal ceremony at the National Cemetery in Bourne. Andover, MA — Jonathan G. Leonard of Andover passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 21, at the age of 39. He was the loving son of Dr. Thomas and Lois Leonard of Andover; and beloved brother to Russell Leonard, Dr. Jeffrey Leonard, and Suzanne Vazquez; brother in-law to Dr. Angel Gangoy-Leonard and Osvaldo Vazquez; and proud uncle of Dylan and Matthew Leonard, and Oliver, Samuel, and Amelia Vazquez. He was employed at Stop and Shop where he had been a loyal employee for over 10 years. He was very active in the Special Olympics and he won numerous medals and trophies in different events through the years. He was also involved in several local bowling leagues and enjoyed spending his free time with his girlfriend, Tina, and his large group of friends from the area.

Reading, formerly of Lawrence — Helen D. (DeFusco) Rickley of Reading, formerly of Lawrence, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on Saturday, May 18, 2013. Helen was predeceased by her parents, Pasqualina (Miele) and Alexander, and her sister, Evelyn. Helen had a beauty of character and personality that was noticed by everyone she met. She devoted her life to raising and loving her family. She also devoted a good part of her life to her parish church and the elementary school children of Reading at Pearl Street and Killam Schools. She served as a volunteer teacher’s aide at the two schools for almost 30 years. She served at St. Athanasius in the old Arts and Crafts group and sang in the church choir for almost 35 years.

Atkinson, NH — Charliene P. Moore died May 16, 2013, in Pleasant Valley, N.H., after a long illness from cancer. She was born in Cambridge, Mass., on Aug. 16, 1945, daughter of the late Pearl and Charles Moore. She grew up in Everett, Mass., and graduated from Malden High. Charliene worked at the IRS for 20 years and for Securitas Services where her security assignments included stints at Sweetheart Plastics, Hewlitt Packard and Global Insights. She fought a long, hard battle with cancer and through it all loved her co-workers and friends. Charliene is survived by her longtime companion, Linda McAdams of Atkinson, N.H., and “Mac,” her furry little friend.
