Anna Heffron, 94


Andover — Mrs. Anna (Perlstein) Heffron 94, of Andover died at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday morning.

Mrs. Heffron was born and raised in Shirley, Mass. She was a resident of Andover for over 60 years. Mrs. Heffron was an avid equestrian and bridge player; she needed only four points more to become a Life Master at Bridge. A longtime member of Temple Emanuel of Andover and the Sisterhood of Temple Emanuel, Mrs. Heffron and her husband were well known for their generosity and philanthropy in both the civic and religious communities of Andover.

She was the devoted wife of 68 years, to Milton Heffron. Beloved mother to Kenneth and Sally Heffron and Debra and the late, Craig Williams; cherished grandmother of Leigh Heffron and Todd Berberian, Jamie and Saulis Dambauskas, Abbi and Chris Lione, and Emily and Jeremy Daviau; proud great grandmother of Ryder, Gavin, Jackson, Viktoria and Lukas. She was also the dear sister of Minnie Press, the late, Esther Guzzi, Louis Perlstein and Julius Perlstein.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road (off Route 133), Andover on Wednesday, February 6 at 1 p.m. Interment in Lawrence.
