Frederick H. Goodwin, III

Haverhill — Frederick H. Goodwin, III, 65, of Bradford, died Thursday, February 7, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen. He was born in Haverhill, May 28, 1947, son of the late, Frederick H. and Elizabeth J. (Rogers) Goodwin, Jr.

Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mr. Goodwin graduated from Haverhill High School, class of 1965. For over 20 years he was employed at the former Vernon Plastics, Ward Hill. A member of the Zodiac Club, Haverhill, he enjoyed fishing, reading and antiques.

His survivors include a daughter, Shelli Martinson and her husband, George of Haverhill; a step-son, Joseph Bovio of Louisville, Ky.; three sisters, Ruth Merrill and her husband, George of Hookset, N.H, Elizabeth “Jane” Quinn and her husband, Steven of Carlisle, Rebecca Gilbert of N. Kingstown, R.I.; two grandsons, Paul Goodwin and Jonathan McCluskey; his close friend, Dot Lignos of Haverhill, as well as several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, February 15, at 4 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the funeral service on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Veteran’s Outreach Center, 65 Cedar St., Haverhill, MA 01830. Arrangements are by the H.L.
