Henry P. Fournier, 80


Haverhill, MA — Haverhill, MA: Henry P. Fournier, 80, a resident of Haverhill, died at Amesbury Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Amesbury, MA on February 18, 2013.

Born in Lawrence, MA, the son of the late Albert and Blanche (Lemoine) Fournier, he attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School, Methuen, Central Catholic High School, Lawrence, MA, and graduated from the former St. James High School, Haverhill, MA with the Class of 1950. Mr. Fournier was an electronic technician for Raytheon Company for 33 years before his retirement in 1991.

Mr. Fournier served as an Airman in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a recipient of the United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal

A member of All Saints Parish and IBEW Local 1505, Mr. Fournier enjoyed traveling, walking, hiking, and doing puzzles.

Mr. Fournier is survived by his brothers, Paul A. Fournier of Atkinson, J. Gerard Fournier of Kansas City, MO, Robert J. Fournier of Groveland, and Richard G. Fournier of Haverhill; sisters, Rita B. Thompson of Hampstead, Lucille Kemp of Groveland, and Claire Desmarais of Hampstead, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by brothers Normand Fournier and Joseph G. Fournier and sisters Helen J. Beier and Louise Howland.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4 to 7 PM at BERUBE-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. His funeral will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Haverhill.
