Lawrence, MA — Paulino "Pablo" Morales, 78, died April 26, 2013 at Colonial Heights Care and Rehabilitation in Lawrence. Paulino was born on April 24, 1935 in Arroyo, Puerto Rico to the late Juan Rivera and Placida Morales. He attended local schools in Arroyo and graduated from High School before immigrating to the United States, where he resided in Lawrence for over 50 years.
He was employed by Leewood Corp. and later Malden Mills as a Machine Operator for 20 years before his retirement in 1990.
Paulino Coached and Managed teams for the Central Little League for well over 20 years. He enjoyed wrestling and was a fan of all New England sports teams especially his beloved Red Sox.
Paulino is survived by his wife of 48 years, Kathleen Ann (Smith) Morales of Methuen, children, Rosa Morales Walker of Methuen, Paul Morales Jr. and his wife Reina of Methuen, John Morales and his wife Maria of Methuen, and Chris Morales and his wife Victoria of Salem, NH, his Godson John Vaysey of Lawrence as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The Morales family would like to extend their thanks to the Staff at Colonial Heights and to Nurses at Merrimack Valley Hospice for the exceptional care given to Paulino.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Boles Memorial-Baron-McAuliffe-Yameen Funeral Home 184 Jackson St. Lawrence, MA 01841. (978-686-0386) Paulino's Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at 7:30 in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private at a later date.
