Lawrence, MA & Palm Bay, FL — Elinor (Jemlich) Kopacz, after declining health, went to be with the Lord on February 23. She was member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and life member of DAV Auxiliary, Queen Chapter #2.
She is survived by husband, John; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Ramona of New Jersey, Michael and Catherine of Chester, N.H. She is predeceased by her son, Kerry.
She is also survived by Kerry’s former wife and her husband, Joanne and Mark Carota of Chelmsford, Mass.; grandchildren and their spouses, Jessica and Aaron Spooner, Holly and Timothy Gonsalves, Benjamin and Tracy, Nathanael, Timothy and Lydia, Josiah, Hannah, Lydianne, and Elizabeth; Matthew and Shannon Carota; sister, Anita Petty of Fla.; nephew, Walter Jemlich and his wife, Geraldine of Massachusetts and Florida; Pamela Jemlich of Florida, widow of nephew Donald; sister-in-law, Helen Jemlich; great-grandchildren, Stephen, Kristina, and Samantha.
She will be missed by many other family and friends as well. She is also predeceased by brothers, Walter and Alfred Jemlich.

On February 9, Elinor’s family and friends gathered in a celebration of her life to offer her tribute in person. Now that the Lord has taken her home, a memorial service at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 163 E. Haverhill St., Lawrence, MA, will be held on Mothers' Day, May 12, 2013, at noon, followed by a mercy meal.
