Haverhill, MA — Kevin William Paul, 51, of Haverhill, formerly of Merrimac, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 7, 2013, at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., December 18, 1961, he was the son of Kathleen (Roth) Paul of Middleton, Conn., and the late Philip Paul.
For many years, Kevin ran his own carpentry business and was known throughout the Merrimack Valley for his quality workmanship.
He was an avid motorcyclist and was involved with various charity work, including area food banks, Community Action and the Catholic Church.
In addition to his mother and his former wife, Charlene A. (Ward) Paul of Merrimac, he is survived by his three daughters, Alicia K. Paul of Haverhill, and Kaitlin M. and Nicole E. Paul, both of Merrimac; and his granddaughter, Avianna. He is also survived by two brothers, Edward Paul of Louisiana and Timothy Paul and his wife, Alainna, of Naugatuck, Conn.; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by an infant son, Kyle J. Paul, who died in 2002. Kevin will forever be remembered for his genuine concern for those in need and his continuous willingness to help in whatever way he could.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 18, 2013, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity of the Holy Redeemer Parish of Merrimac. Interment in Locust Grove Cemetery will be private.
