Haverhill — Deborah C. (Wilner) Adams, 53, of Haverhill, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2013, at her home.
Born in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of Alan M. Wilner and Brenda C. (Krifchin). She attended public schools in Maryland and was a graduate of Milford Mill High School, Class of 1978. She attended Howard Community College in Columbia, Md., and Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill.
Relocating to Haverhill in 1986, she was employed as a counselor and social worker, helping those with mental health and addiction issues.
She leaves two sons, Matthew Duffy and his partner, Leah Sousa, and Sean K. Duffy, and his partner, Vanessa Jaffarian, all of Haverhill; a daughter, Cali T. Morrissey, of Peoria, Ill.; her father, Alan M. Wilner of Baltimore, Md.; her mother and stepfather, Brenda and William Axelrod of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Alison Morrissey of Peoria, Ill., and Rebecca Wilner of Panama City, Panama; a brother, Jonathan Wilner of Baltimore, Md.; and a niece, Rachael Morrissey and former husband, Kenneth Duffy, of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her former husband, Calvin Adams
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Service on Friday evening, May 24, at 6:30 p.m. in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Route 125), Haverhill.
