SANDOWN, N.H. — M. Sheila (Bresnahan) Genualdo, 67, of Sandown, NH, passed away Friday, January 6, at home, surrounded by loving family.
She was born in Haverhill, MA on June 13, 1944, daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Hayes) Bresnahan. She attended both Sacred Hearts School and Haverhill High School. Mrs. Genualdo went on to earn her Nursing Degree from Lowell General.
She was employed as a Registered Nurse at Hale Hospital in Haverhill for over 25 years, spending the majority of her career working in the emergency department. Following her retirement, she continued her nursing career for an additional ten years at the former Lucent Technologies as an Occupational Health Nurse. Mrs. Genualdo cherished time spent with her grandchildren and enjoyed reading.
Her survivors include her husband of 44 years, Mr. Salvatore "Sal" Genualdo of Sandown, NH, her daughter Rosemary MacKenzie and husband Jason of Greenland, NH, two sons; Arthur Genualdo and wife Cheryl of Meriden, CT and Paul Genualdo and wife LaRae of Saginaw, TX. She is also survived by her two sisters; Patricia Stickney and husband Charles of Norwood, MA, Margaret Bartley and husband Robert of Fremont, NH, and her brother, Paul Bresnahan Jr. of Rye, NH. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Maia Genualdo, Ciretta and Giada MacKenzie and Niko Genualdo, as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012 at 9:30 from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
