Jacqueline (Sciacca) Balogh


Atkinson, NH — Mrs. Jacqueline (Jackie) (Sciacca) Balogh, 75, of Atkinson, N.H., passed away at the Oxford Manor in Haverhill, Mass., on July 12, 2013.

Jackie was the daughter of Carmello and Laura Sciacca.

She attended Holy Rosary School and Lawrence High, and later graduated from the McIntosh Business School.

She retired from Borden Chemical and enjoyed her retirement with her husband traveling to Aruba and cruises to the Caribbean. Her biggest enjoyment was traveling to Las Vegas, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. Jackie was artistic and entertained with flair and style.

She leaves her best friend and loving husband, Andy; a son, Jack Roy and his wife, Joan, of Haverhill; a sister, Geraldine Rydle of Lawrence; and two grandchildren, Taylor Roy and Austin Sciacca. She also leaves special stepchildren, Frank Balogh and his wife, Erin, and Helen Balogh; and three special stepgrandchildren, Jason Birthold, and Fallon and Eathan Balogh.

The family would like to thank both the Oxford Manor and Merrimack Valley Hospice staff for all the care that was provided.
