SOUTH LAWRENCE — Anthony P. Dietrich, 42, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, died at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, surrounded by his devoted family after a period of declining health.
A native of Lawrence, he is the son of Robert E. Dietrich and Shirley A. (Andrews) Dietrich and was a graduate of Greater Lawrence High School.
He was an avid New England sports fan who especially enjoyed the Boston Bruins.
Anthony possessed a great smile and could easily make friends. His family will forever cherish his memory as a kind individual who was always concerned for others.
In addition to this loving parents, his family members include three brothers, Robert Dietrich and his wife, Julie, Peter Dietrich, and Edward Dietrich; one niece, Samantha; one uncle, Ernest ‘Bo’ Dietrich; and extended family and loyal friends.

Calling hours are Friday, July 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Saturday, July 20, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, South Lawrence. Final acts of farewell and laying to rest will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lawrence.
