Haverhill, MA — Michael F. Conte, 70, unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. He was born in Lawrence, educated in Methuen, and served in the U.S. Army National Guard. He was employed at the Bill DeLuca dealerships as an automotive mechanic for many years until his retirement. Mike was an avid NHRA and NASCAR fan and was a fixture at the New England Dragway.
He was the son of the late Michael and Theresa (Graham) Conte and predeceased by brothers, Steven and Kenneth of Louden, N.H. His survivors include a son, James and his wife, Leslie, of Sandown, N.H.; sister, Gloria Barnes and her husband, Richard, of Haverhill; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
