Haverhill — Amelia M. Luciano, widow of Frank R. Luciano, passed away at Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill on the occasion of her 98th birthday. She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Antoinetta (Nardone) Triene. She was born and raised in Lawrence and attended Lawrence Public Schools. She was employed for many years as a bookkeeper at the American Woolen Co.
Amelia enjoyed cooking, bowling, and spending time with her family. She was active in the Lawrence Senior Center and Sons of Italy Lawrence Ladies Lodge. She was also a communicant of St. Lucy’s Parish in Methuen. Amelia spent several years as a participant at Sarah’s Place Adult Day Health Program in Haverhill. She also spent time at Hannah Duston Health Care Center in Haverhill.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marilyn Luciano Bryant, with whom she lived for many years; her grandson, Jonathan D. Bryant and his wife, Kelly (Roche), of Salem, N.H.; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Clara Autiello, Margaret Torrisi and Gilda Bellino.
The family extends its sincerest and deepest appreciation to the staff at Sarah’s Place and Hannah Duston in Haverhill for their loving care given to Amelia.
ARRANGEMENTS: Amelia’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 29, at 11 a.m., at St. Lucy’s Parish in Methuen, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lawrence. Prior to her Funeral Mass, relatives and friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, Mass.
