Andover, MA — Angelina M. (Recupero) Padova, 99, of Andover, passed away peacefully at Nevins Nursing Center on Saturday, July 5. She was the daughter of the late Corrado Recupero and Maria (Canto) Recupero.
Angelina was born in Lawrence on June 18, 1915, and grew up working on her family’s farm for many years. Angelina was a very hardworking woman and it showed, as she worked for William Barry Clothing for over 30 years. She had a love and appreciation for gardening and animals. It doesn’t go without saying that she loved the Catholic faith and she served as a member of the St. Rita’s Sodality at Holy Rosary Church.
Angelina is survived by her son, Vincent “Vinny” Padova of Andover; her daughter, Josephine Costanzo of Lawrence; her four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A funeral service will follow the calling hours, at 12 p.m., with burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.
