Lawrence — Susan M. Ricci, 96, of Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, July 3, 2014. Born in Lawrence, Susan was the daughter of Pasquale and Maddalena (D'Errico) Integlia. She was married to the late Joseph P. Ricci. She was raised and educated in Lawrence, graduating from Lawrence High School. Susan was a member of The Sons of Italy, Lodge 902 in Lawrence, and worked for Western Electric and became a supervisor for Internal Revenue Service. She enjoyed many crafts, including crocheting and ceramics. She performed volunteer work, including teaching classes at the Lawrence Senior Center, and worked for the State of Massachusetts, administering Civil Service Exams, as well as serving Elder Services. She loved bowling and dancing. She belonged to the Come Alive After Five Group, where she served as a board member. She danced at their affairs until age 90. Her extensive travels included European countries, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands, Canada, and throughout the U.S.
Susan is survived by her son, David Ricci and his wife, Susan, of Manchester, N.H.; her sister, Helen Faye of North Andover; and sister-in-law, Jennie Ferris of Methuen; her grandchildren, David Ricci and his wife, Karren, Alyssa Stanton and her husband, John, Nathan Ricci and his wife, Gizem, and Andrew J. Ricci; and her great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne J. Ricci.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral service on Friday, July 11, at 11 a.m., in the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover.
