Haverhill — – John C. Cuneen, 66, of Haverhill died Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Baker – Katz Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a lengthy illness.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Beatrice (Graham) Cuneen. Educated in Haverhill, he attended Haverhill public schools and Haverhill High School.
Mr. Cuneen was employed as a launderer for local nursing homes in this city. Living at the Baker – Katz Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation facility for many years, he became the unofficial greeter of the facility and enjoyed the company of all the residents and especially the staff. His family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the people of Baker – Katz.
He leaves a daughter, Pamela Cuneen and her partner, Robin McRae, a sister, Doris Comeau, all of Haverhill, three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Eaton, his brother, Robert White, and sisters, Lorraine Lane and Irene Flanagan.
