Frank R. Misserville, 80


Lawrence — Frank R. Misserville, 80, of Lawrence passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA from complications of Multiple Myeloma which he battled for the past five years.

He was born and raised in Lawrence and educated in the Lawrence School System. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force after graduating from Lawrence High School, and was a veteran of the Korean War, honorably discharged in 1956. He was employed at Raytheon for 38 years as a logistics engineer. During his career at Raytheon, he continued his education and graduated from Lowell Technological Institute and Fitchburg State College with a B.S. in engineering.

He was the son of the late Peter and Carmela (Staffieri) Misserville, He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline (Tourigny) Misserville; three children, Linda Higgins, wife of Thomas Higgins of North Andover, Susan Conte of Methuen, and her companion Michael P. Driscoll, and Michael Misserville of Lawrence; four grandchildren, Brian Higgins and his wife Melissa of Stoneham, Michael Higgins and his girl friend, Phebe Robinson of Lowell, Laura Higgins of North Andover, and Nicholas Conte of Salem, NH; three great grandchildren whom he adored, Riley, Caden and Declan Higgins,of Stoneham. He also leaves one brother, Albert Misserville of Lawrence, two sisters, Rita Dignam of Methuen, and Eleanor, wife of James McCabe of Lawrence, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters, Phyllis and Antonetta Misserville and brother Peter Misserville.

His most joyous times were spent with his family - particularly with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Monday March 25th from 9:00 am to 10:00am at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. A funeral Mass will follow in the chapel at St. Monica's Church, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Methuen.
