Lowell, MA — Pearl (Wagner) Dube, age 89, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2013, at a local healthcare facility in Lowell. For 65 years, she was the wife of the late Armand C. Dube, who passed away in October, 2011.
She was born in Lowell on September 13, 1923, a daughter of the late Albert and Alexandria (Lafreniere) Wagner. Pearl spent 12 years of her childhood in Biddeford, Maine, until the age of 21, when she moved to Lowell with her family.
Prior to her retirement, she was an assembler at BTU in Billerica for eight years and previously worked as a supervisor at Lowell Dress Shop for 30 years.
Pearl enjoyed taking trips with her husband, and was a member of the Centralville Senior Citizens Club in Lowell.
She is survived by a son, Albert J. Dube, of Hampton, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Helen Landry of Lowell; two grandchildren, Craig Dube and his wife, Jennifer, of Binghamton, N.Y. and Eric Dube of Fremont, N.H.; a great grandson, Austin Dube; also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Yolande Perreault, Angeline Lemieux, Rita Poulin, Gloria Cloutier, Ralph, Roger and Henry Wagner, and grandmother of the late Christopher Dube, who passed away in 1981.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. Laurin & Son Funeral Home, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Wednesday, May 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 a.m., at the Holy Family Parish (Ste.
