Brooksville, Fla. — Leo A. Mottram, Sr., 85, was born to Randolph and Elizabeth (Palfarman) Mottram in Lawrence on February 24, 1927. He relocated to Brooksville, Fla. in 1987. Leo is survived by the love of his life, Ruth Mottram; sister, Constance Lemay of Salem, N.H.; sons, Glen Mottram, Leo Mottram, Jr., Wayne Mottram, Allen Mottram; daughters, Gayle Mottram, Janet Chandonnet, Joanne Dowd, Leann Moore, and Kathy Zimmerman; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by six sisters and six brothers; Martha Mottram, Margaret Mottram, Elizabeth Soares, Eileen Chouinard, Gertrude Dean; Dorothy Mccaulay; Patrick Mottram; John Mottram, George Mottram, William Mottram, and Frederick Mottram.
In addition to his family, he is most proud of his 38 years of service at Tewksbury Hospital and US Navy campaign in the South Pacific (1944-1946) on the USS Vammen DE 644. Leo is a life time member of the VFW, Post 8713, Brooksville, Fla.
