Haverhill — Felix A. Beauregard, age 90, of Haverhill, died on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.
A native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, he was the last surviving of the fourteen children of the late Felix A. and Valerie (Panneton) Beauregard. He attended St. James High School and worked as a young man in the C.C.C. Camps. He served in the United States Army during World War II and was a recipient of the American Theater Campaign Ribbon, the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, the good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He worked as a roofer for forty-nine years for Letoile Roofing Company of Haverhill and for several other local roofers. He was a member of St. James Parish, Haverhill, the Plaistow Fish and Game Club, the Haverhill AmVets, Post #147 and a life member of the Lorraine Post V.F.W.
An avid fisherman, Mr. Beauregard also enjoyed bowling and playing pool.
Husband of the late Theresa S. (Bourque) who died March 14, 1994, he is survived by four sons, Peter W. Beauregard and his wife, Debra Soaveof Billerica, Paul L. Beauregard of Haverhill, Philip A. Beauregard and his companion, Linda Martin of Haverhill and Richard F. Beauregard of Haverhill; a daughter, Rosann Lapierre of Haverhill; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, October 10, 2012, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA. His funeral will begin on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, Haverhill. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Walnut Cemetery, Haverhill.
