Methuen — Rowena (Chung) Miragliotta, 80, of Methuen passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill in the company of her family. She was born in Dinuba, CA and was the daughter of the late Hyun Suk and Kook Hyun Chung.
Mrs. Miragliotta graduated from Dinuba High School in Dinuba, CA, class of 1949. She served in the U.S. Navy (Waves) during the Korean Conflict where she met and married her husband.
For many years Mrs. Miragliotta worked for USDA Farmers Home Administration and also the US Department of Defense where she retired.
She leaves her husband of 59 years, Carmelo B. Miragliotta; her sons, Vincent J. of Falmouth and David J. and his wife Cynthia of Methuen; her daughters, Karen A. Pizza and her husband Greg of Dover, NH and Laura E. Miragliotta of Lowell; her siblings, Botts Chung and Connie Lowe both of California. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. Her funeral services will immediately follow the conclusion of visiting hours at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
