Ossipee, NH — Michael Robert DeCelle, 51, of Ossipee, NH, formerly of Haverhill, died Monday, March 4, 2013 at the Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH after being stricken ill suddenly at home.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Mildred E. (Glover) and the late, Ronald R. DeCelle. Educated in Haverhill Public Schools, he was a Graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1980.
For many years Mr. DeCelle was employed as a mechanic for the city of Haverhill. He serviced the fleet of cruisers for the Haverhill Police Department until illness forced him into and early retirement in 2008.
Relocating to Ossipee in recent years, he loved the mountains and the beauty northern New Hampshire had to offer.
He leaves his wife, Jody (Gagalis) DeCelle, of Ossipee, a son, Michael R. Jr, of Maine, four daughters, Shelly Lowther, of KY, Stephanie M. Davenport, and her husband, Dustin, of Haverhill, and Jacqueline M. DeCelle, and Wendy M. DeCelle, also of Ossipee, mother, Mildred E. DeCelle, and step mother, Christine DeCelle, both of Haverhill, three brothers, Bruce A. DeCelle and his wife, Kelly, of Amesbury, Brian K. DeCelle, and his wife Amy, of FL, and Matthew R. DeCelle and his wife, Kristen, of Salisbury, two sisters, Renee A. Rapp and her husband, Michael, of Haverhill, and Tammy L. Evans and her husband Steven, of Merrimac, ten grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and family are respectfully invited to attend his funeral service Friday evening at 7:00 PM in the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. Haverhill.
