Salem, N.H. — Robert A. “Buddy” Leriche Jr., age 65, of Salem, N.H., died peacefully Wednesday at his home, with his family at his side.
He was born in Methuen, and grew up in Salem, N.H., where he was a life long resident. Buddy worked as a computer technician for Honeywell in Lawrence, for many years. He also was a self employed computer tech. He enjoyed playing cards, especially poker and was a roller skating enthusiast. Buddy also served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife, Rita C. (Beliveau) Leriche of Salem; children, Shelley and her husband, Gary Prescott of Middleton, N.H., Barry and his wife, Michelle Leriche of Derry, N.H., Amy Swearengin of Salem, N.H.; mother, Marion (Laverriere) Leriche of Salem, N.H.; sisters, Renita McClellan of Salem, N.H., Roberta LeBeau of Salem, N.H., Rona Leriche of Manchester, N.H.; brother, Randy Leriche of Salem, N.H., seven grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9 from 2-6 p.m. at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, N.H. Burial will be in the spring at the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, N.H. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Dr, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110.
