Sandra Eaton, 65

Haverhill — Sandra Eaton passed away on October 30. She was the beloved daughter of Rose M. Eaton of Brentwood,N.H. and of William A. Eaton of Newburyport.

Sandra was the beloved mother to Theresa A. Godsoe of Lawrence, Gail L. Sheldon of Ohio, Sheary L. Adams of Haverhill, April L. Bisson of Haverhill, Leon A. Rogers of Lawrence, and of the late Lorraine L. Bonacorsi of Manchester, N.H., and the late Archie L. Rogers of Haverhill,. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren

ARRANGEMENTS: Memorial services will be performed at Haverhill Elks Lodge located at 24 Summer St., Haverhill from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on November 4.

  • Armand J. Gosselin Jr., 35

    Fairbanks, Alaska — Armand J. Gosselin Jr., 35, son of Armand J. Gosselin Sr., and Patricia J. Gosselin, passed away in Alaska on April 13, 2014. He was born on Oct. 13, 1978 in Lawrence, where he grew up. He attended Lawrence public schools. As a child he joined the Civil Air Patrol. He then went on to The National Guard in Rhode Island where he graduated earning his GED. He then joined the Army. Armand was recently medically retired from the Army suffering from PTSD. He was deployed three times in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Armand loved being in the military and was honored to serve his country. Besides his parents, he leaves a daughter, Courtney Gosselin, Lawrence; sons, Kyle Gosselin Lawrence, Robert Gosselin Fairbanks, Alaska, and Anthony Gosselin Fairbanks. He also leaves his wife in Fairbanks. He leaves an older sister, April Watters, husband, David Watters; brothers, Matthew Gosselin and Kathy Alack, Jason Gosselin his wife Jennifer; grandparents, Arthur Gosselin and Sarah E. Hampstead, N.H. Armand is also survived by his uncles, Edward Gosselin, Michael Cutrona, wife Debra, Joe Cutrona, fiancee Jackie Molinari; aunts, Theresa Bayley husband Don, Geraldine Patterson, husband Raymond, Joanne Levesque husband Pete, and Maryann Lister, husband James. He had several nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Lawrence — Lillian Walton, 86, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2014, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Lillian was born on Nov. 22, 1927 in Barton, Vt. to the late Leonard and Amanda (Lebeau) Lacroix. Lillian enjoyed traveling, specifically to Ft. Pierce, Fla., with her brother and sister-in-law. She also enjoyed shopping, dinners with her sister, Doris, reading and word searches. Family was Lillian’s greatest achievement, she showed her entire family unconditional love.

    Frederick, MD — Lorraine Quereux Cecil, age 94 of Frederick, Md., passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Somerford Assisted Living, Frederick, Md. She lived most of her life in the Washington, D.C. area and then retired to Buckingham's Choice, Frederick, Md. in 2000. She was the wife of the late Mr. James W. Cecil who passed away in 1987. Born on June 4, 1919 in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Winoc and Eugenie (Rolin) Quereux.

    Lawrence — Marie L. (Beaudoin)(Spina) Michaud, 83, of Lawrence, died Monday at Holy Family Hospital. Born in Lawrence, Mrs. Michaud had been an area resident all her life. She was retired from Loren Products, attended St. Mary Church and enjoyed her puzzles. Mrs. Michaud loved to spend time with her family and had an extensive Elvis collection. She is the daughter of the late Daniel and Marie Anne (Lessard) Beaudoin and sister to the late Roland and Fred Beaudoin. Mrs. Michaud was also predeceased by three great-grandchildren, Avery, Alexander, and Zachary Marquis. Mrs. (Spina) Michaud is survived by one daughter, Lucille Berard of Nottingham, N.H.; two sons, John Spina and his wife Beverly of Nottingham, and Daniel Spina of Lawrence, and one brother, Henry Beaudoin of Florida. There are five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, Fresenius Medical Care, and Guardian Ambulance for all the care and support they have provided.

    Clarksburg, MA — Guilhermina Vieira, 94, died on Sunday at North Adams Commons. Mrs. Vieira was born and educated in Faial, Azores, Portugal, and was the daughter of the late Jose and Georgiana Rosa. A homemaker, Mrs. Vieira and her late husband, Francisco Luis, came to Lawrence in 1982. She was a former parishioner of Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Lawrence, and after moving to the Berkshires, she attended St. Patrick Church in Williamstown, Mass. Mrs. Vieira enjoyed reading the daily newspapers and crocheting.

Born in Boston on August 9, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harold W. and Catherine M. (Powell) Corman. A 20-year resident of Billerica, Mrs. Johnson worked for CR Bard/USCI in the production of medical devices. She was a communicant at St. Theresa's Parish.

She was born in Lawrence, and was the daughter of Alphonse J. and Filomena (Palermo) Parolisi. She was raised and educated in Lawrence, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was a BEST section chief for the IRS in Andover for over 40 years, prior to retiring. In her free time, Phyllis enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling, cooking, gardening, but most of all spending time with her family.

Born in Lynn, Mass., she was raised and educated in North Andover, Mass. Cookie moved to Florida in 2000. She graduated from North Andover High, and earned her associate degree in mental health technology at Northern Essex Community College, then went on to Merrimack College. Cookie loved camping, traveling, family, her pets, and especially working in her yard, planting flowers. She had a big heart and did many acts of kindness. Cookie worked many years with mentally challenged adults in group home settings that provided training in daily and functional living skills, along with recreational programming

    Salem, NH — Georgea Morisseau, 68, of Salem, N.H., passed away on April 20, 2014, after a brief illness. She was born on February 24, 1946, to Walter and Grace McGrail. Georgea was born and educated in Lawrence, graduating from St. Mary’s High School. Georgea was employed with the Division of Unemployment and Training for the State of Massachusetts, where she worked in the Lawrence office for over 35 years, until her retirement in 2002.

  • Henry J. Fary, 84

    Haverhill, MA — Henry J. Fary, 84, of Haverhill, formerly of North Andover, Mass., passed away on Saturday, April 19, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Mr. Fary was born in Lawrence, Mass., and was educated in the Lawrence and Salem, N.H., school systems. In 1946, he entered the United States Navy. He was very proud of his time spent serving aboard the U.S.S. Canaesteo, as they traveled abroad, including a stop at the South Pole with Admiral Bird. Upon his return from service, he worked in the family real estate business, and Fary Auto Sales in Salem, N.H., with his twin brother, Jimmy. In later years, he continued to run an equipment company, as well as a number of restaurants/pubs in Methuen, North Andover and Lawrence, Mass., all under the name Henry J's. He loved business, especially when it involved working with people. It was always about having fun. A member of the Bektash Shriners and their Shriner Cycle Unit, he enjoyed years of Shriner events alongside his brother. He was an avid New England sports fan, and traveled regularly to Daytona, Fla., with his large group of friends to attend NASCAR events. The son of the late Habdel T. Fary and Christina MacLaren Fary, he is survived by his twin brother, James T. Fary and his wife, Muriel, of Salem, N.H.; his only child, Christina and her husband, Scott Jenkins of Atkinson, N.H.; granddaughter, Claudia; longtime companion and dear friend, Patricia Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former wife, Patricia J. (Parlon) Fary. The family would like to express its sincere thanks to Dr. Vartan Yeghiazarians for his exceptional care, and continuous support and guidance.
