West Palm Beach, Fla. — Salvatore Privitera was born in Hartford, Conn., where he was a graduate of Weaver High School. Sal served his country during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a route salesman for Moon Bakery in Hartford, Conn., also with others in Lawrence, before his retirement. He then moved to this area and became a liquor salesman in West Palm Beach and retired from Hampton Liquors in Palm Beach. Sal was a parishioner at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, and also an active member of the Sons of Italy.
His survivors include his wife, Palma; his son, Brian and his wife Kathy of Jupiter, Fla.., and his daughter Debra and her husband Michael Reuter of Spartanberg, S.C.; three grandchildren, Connor, Joseph, and Zachary; along with several devoted nieces and nephews. Sal was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law Concetta and Vincent Spano.
