Kingston, N.H. — Keith K. Simpson, 83, of Kingston, N.H., passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry, N.H.
Keith was born in Exeter and grew up in Salem, N.H. He was a 1947 graduate of Woodbury High School and went on to obtain his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UNH. He served with the U.S. Marines from 1951 to 1953. His entire professional career was spent at Western Electric until his retirement in 1991 as a senior engineer. He coached Little League in Hampstead, N.H. He enjoyed league bowling, as well as working as a volunteer at the former Hale Hospital in Haverhill. In recent years, his favorite activity was to sit on the deck by the lake with family.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carroll (Brown) Simpson of Kingston. He leaves his children, Sheri Simpson of Pembroke, N.H., Brandan Simpson and his wife Kathy of Manchester, N.H., Clayton Simpson and his wife Nancy of Chester, N.H. and Katie Hebert and her husband Greg of Bradenton, Fla; nine grandchildren: Caitlin, Shannon, Erin, Connor, Shaun, Kelsey, Lindsey, Hailey and Alicia; five great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Nadine, Aidyn, Kennedy and Gabriel and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are invited to call from 11 to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 26 at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, N.H.
