Andover — Muriel C.(Schlott) Feeney, 85, of Andover, died on Friday at Lawrence General Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was the widow of the late John B. Feeney. She is survived by her daughter, Gayle D. Feeney of Lowell; and her son, Brian J. Feeney and his wife, Sandi, of Andover; her granddaughter, Brandi Greenwood and her husband, Elijah; her grandson, Dwight Feeney and his fiancée, Ashley Hogan; and her granddaughter, Stephanie Feeney. Muriel was predeceased by her sister, Shirley Hasbany.
Muriel was born in Lawrence Massachusetts on July 19,1928 to the late Gustave and Delvina (Mailhott) Schlott.
She graduated from Lawrence High School and continued her education at Erskine School in Boston.
Muriel was a volunteer at the Holy Family Hospital for several years after the death of her husband, John.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, October 8, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Augustine's Church, Essex Street, Andover. Burial will follow in West Parish Cemetery, Andover. Family and friends may call on Monday, October 7, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover.
