Andover — Estelle (Aghoian) Bogosian, 77, passed away peacefully on October 18 at Wingate Andover after a long illness. Born on December 15, 1935, in Haverhill, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Beatrice Aghoian. She was a longtime resident of Andover.
Estelle loved to cook and garden and was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, cousin, niece and friend. She was a kind and giving soul and nothing made her happier than sharing the fruits of her labors. She loved being outdoors, was a hard-worker, learned from childhood on a farm and she carried those values with her throughout her life. Though motherhood was her number one hobby, she dearly loved her three grandaughters, who she called her “Sweeties” and who were her pride and joy. Even as she became ill, she always ensured that she had gifts for them whenever they visited her.
She loved to travel to warm weather destinations, especially Puerto Rico, the Caribbean islands and Florida. She had a spirit of adventure that later included trips to casinos. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and always had a stroke of good luck.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Aram Bogosian of Andover; her son, Brian Bogosian and his wife, Lisa; and her granddaughters, Ever and Lily of San Francisco; her daughter, Cynthia Bogosian of Boston; and granddaughter, Jacqueline Mimno of Los Angeles; her brother, Richard and his wife, Sheila, of North Andover and West Palm Beach, Fla.; and her brother, Allen and his wife, Darlene, of Methuen. She is and will always be missed by all.
The Bogosian family wants to thank the nurses and caregivers at Wingate Andover for their love and care of Estelle in the final stage of her life’s journey.
