Haverhill, formerly of Lawrence — Cecile Annette (Saindon) Deschesne, 72, of Haverhill, formerly a lifelong resident of Lawrence, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2013, at the Wingate at Haverhill.
She was born in Lawrence, Mass., to the late W. Louis and Rose Emma C. (Rajotte) Saindon. Cecile was educated in the local schools of Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School in 1960.
She and her husband owned and operated the Pine Craft Woodworking Shop for 45 years until retiring. Cecile was an avid gardener and loved flowers. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Lawrence Counsel #67.
She was the wife of the late Henry E. Deschesne. Her family members include her son, Raymond J. and his wife, Angela Deschesne of Raymond, N.H.; her sisters, Carole A. Gosselin and her husband, Gerard of Windham, N.H.,
and Rose Emma Lemay of Rochester, N.H.; sister-in-law, Therese and Robert Ward of Lawrence, Mass.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family thanks the staff at Wingate at Haverhill Nursing Home for their love and care.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Tuesday, October 29, 2013, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday immediately following the calling hours at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, Mass.
Burial will take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, Mass.
Donations may be made to the Wingate at Haverhill Resident Council. Cecile enjoyed the social activities offered by the council.
