Lawrence, MA — William Francis Fawcett, 89, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013. He was a native of Lawrence, Mass., and was a Catholic. He retired from Blue Line Express and was an Army Veteran of WWII.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Proulx Fawcett, and his parents, Mary Terrio Fawcett and John Fawcett. He is survived by two daughters, Mary Fawcett and Dottie Fawcett; six sons, Roger Fawcett, councilman for the city of Suffolk and his wife, Candy Fink Fawcett, Raymond Fawcett and Kathy, Donald Fawcett and wife, Linda, Bill Fawcett and wife, Vicky, John Fawcett and wife, Bonnie, Michael Fawcett and wife, Chris; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: A service will be held at 11 a.m., on Thursday, in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Suffolk, Va. The family will receive friends in Loving Funeral Home Portsmouth, Va., on Wednesday, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. They suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
