Auburn, NH — Wayne J. St. Jean, 62, of Auburn, NH, died at his home, on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, in the arms of his wife and surrounded by his family. Wayne was born in Lawrence, MA on August 16, 1951, the son of the late Leo and Rita (Gaudet) St. Jean.
Wayne was a veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Navy. He resided in Lawrence, MA for many years before moving to New Hampshire. He worked at Cyr Oil and General Dynamics as an engineer construction supervisor.
Wayne was a hard worker yet always found time to spend with his family. He enjoyed taking motorcycle rides with his wife and friends, particularly Bike Week. He dedicated spending time with his grandson, Ethan.
He will best be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by friends and family.
Family members include his wife, Paula (Daniels) St. Jean; two sons, Brian and his son, Ethan of Manchester; Keith of Manchester; brothers, Richard, Raymond and Robert; sister, Kathleen Iskra; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Leo and sisters, Theresa and Marilyn.
Services: Friends and family may gather for a final farewell on Monday, Nov. 11 at St. Peter’s Church, 567 Manchester Rd., Auburn, NH at 10:30 a.m.; a Mass will be celebrated immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rockingham County VNA & Hospice, 137 Epping Rd., Exeter, NH 03833, for their wonderful care and support.
