Jean Oppel Mueller, 87

North Andover, Formerly of Andover and Weston — Mrs. Jean Oppel Mueller, a resident of North Andover, formerly of Andover and Weston, and beloved wife of the late William Mueller and George E. Oppel, died at Penacook Place in Haverhill on Monday, April 29, 2013. She was 87 years old.

Born in Waterbury, Conn., on July 17, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of the late Henry and Christine McCarthy. Mrs. Mueller was a nurse and was employed by an adult day care for many years. Jean was active in both the Andover and North Andover Senior Center's. She was a communicant of St. Augustine Church in Andover and St. Michael Church in North Andover.

She will be very sorely missed by her loving children, Maureen Irons of Santa Fe, N.M., Robert and his wife, Heidi Oppel, of Medfield, Karen and her husband, Robert Rimol, of Londonderry, and Mary and her husband, Thomas Holland, of North Andover; a brother, John McCarthy of North Carolina; and grandchildren, Daniel, Ben, Michael, Rhett, Jenna, Holly, Kaitlyn, Meghan, Matthew, Siobhan, Courtney and Tommy.
