Salem, NH — Mary J. (Currier) Eldred, 88, of Salem, N.H., passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2013, at her home in Salem, N.H.
Born and educated in Lawrence, Mass., she was the daughter of Fredrick and Mary (Broadhurst) Currier and a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She worked as a technician for 30 years at Western Electric in North Andover, Mass. Mary enjoyed reading, was an avid Red Sox fan, but most important was spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 66 years, Paul J. Eldred of Salem, N.H., and is survived by her children, Paul J. Eldred, Jr. and his wife, Judi, of Wichita, Kan., and Robert J. Eldred and his wife, Patti, of Methuen, Mass.; grandchildren, Brian Eldred and his wife, Christine, of Plaistow, N.H., Lindsay Eldred and her fiancé, Matthew Croteau, of Methuen, Mass., and Eric Eldred; and two great-grandchildren, Casey and Zachary Eldred.
Mary also leaves a special niece and caregiver, Cheryl Contarino of Lawrence, and also several other nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
