Haverhill — Glenna T. (Guyot) Francis, 86, of Haverhill and formerly of Newton, N.H., died Wednesday evening, May 1, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill with her family by her side.
She was born in Haverhill, May 3, 1926, daughter of the late Romeo and Celina (Caron) Guyot.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mrs. Francis was employed in various shoe shops in Haverhill. Until her retirement, in 1983, she was employed as an assembler at the former Precision Methods in Salem, N.H. After her retirement, she and her late husband were employed at Flowers By Steve in Ward Hill.
Mrs. Francis was the wife of the late Paul J. Francis, Sr. who died in 2000 and mother of the late William T. Francis and James K. Francis. Her survivors include four sons, Paul J. Francis, Jr. and his wife, Marion, of Haverhill, Richard M. Francis of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and his wife, Heidi, Kenneth G. Francis and his wife, Debbie, of Haverhill, and Mark S. Francis of Raymond, N.H.; four daughters, Carol A. Dion and her husband, Paul, of Hampstead, N.H., Judy M. Francis of Haverhill, Nancy J. Robillard of Russellville, Ala., and Laurie A. Williams of Raymond, N.H.; daughter-in-law, Nancy Francis; 25 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral on Monday morning, May 6, at 10 a.m. from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours at the H.L.
