Nashua, NH — Andrew Albert, 61, of Nashua, N.H., passed away Wednesday, May 15, at home.
Andy grew up in Tewksbury, Mass., and attended Tewksbury public schools. He received degrees from UMass Lowell, Daniel Webster College and NOVA University. Andy also served his country in the United States Army. Andy was a dedicated teacher for many years in various schools.
Andy is predeceased by his mother, Mary (Hetherington) Albert, and leaves behind his father, William Albert of Hudson, N.H.; a daughter, Angela of Lowell, Mass.; sisters, Jane Albert and husband, Tom Salvo, of Tewksbury and Katie Usher and husband, Mike, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; brothers, Peter Albert and wife, Cathi, of Merrimack, N.H., Steve Albert and wife, Jackie, of Townsend, Mass.; and special friend, Debra Severance of Nashua. Andy was beloved by many nephews, nieces and family.
Andy loved watching sports. He was an avid Celtics and Patriots fan. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. His gentle manner and good heart will be missed by all who knew him.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held Monday, May 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home, 50 Ferry St., Hudson, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 21, at 10 a.m. at St. Kathryn Parish, 4 Dracut Road, Hudson, NH. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Rd, Tewksbury, MA, following the Mass.
