Salem, NH — Charles V. Salois, age 77, of Salem, N.H., died Wednesday at his home. He was born in Lowell, Mass., where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem for over 50 years.
Mr. Salois was a retired salesman for UTT Distributing in Cambridge, Mass. After his retirement, Charlie worked security for Rockingham Park Race Track in Salem. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, sitting by the lake and loved playing cribbage.
He was predeceased by his sisters, Kathleen Schoberle, Rita Fratus, and Eleanor Crowley. He is survived by his beloved wife, Claire (Necco) Salois of Salem, N.H., daughters, Jody Shaw of Salem, Jan and her husband, Robert White of Salem; grandchildren, Ryan Shaw, Jacob and Tyler White, several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 3, at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem, N.H. Cremation will follow. Calling hours will be Friday, May 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H.
