Joan M. (Anderson) Erban, 72


Salem, NH — Joan M. (Anderson) Erban, 72, of Salem, N.H., died peacefully on Monday, July 29, at her home. Joan was born in Boston, and grew up and was educated in Brighton, Mass. She was a resident of Salem for the past 34 years, formerly of Chelmsford, Mass. Joan was a homemaker and she enjoyed reading. Cooking was her passion, and she loved spending time with family and friends entertaining at her home. She also enjoyed her time spent in North Port, Fla.

She was one of 11 children of the late David and Veronica (Tatten) Anderson. Joan is survived by her husband, Herbert “Bud” Erban of Salem; sons, Frank Manderach and fiancé, Jody Kerlin of Ocean City, Md., and Derek Erban of Salem; grandchildren, Alyssa and Michael Manderach; four sisters; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews

ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours are on Thursday August 1, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem.
