Pauline Byron, 71


Pepperell — Pauline V. Byron Pepperell of Pepperell, formerly of Tyngsboro , passed away March 17, 2013, after a long illness. Her final days were spent surrounded by her family. Pauline was born on December 18, 1941, in Lowell, to the late, Wilfred and Lauretta (Maher) Ouellette.

Pauline enjoyed working with people and worked as a Wedding Coordinator/Planner for 21 years at the Windsor Mills Banquet Hall in Dracut. Her interests included photography, painting, and gardening. But the joy in her life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother which she mastered with selflessness and compassion. A gentle, brave, strong Angel full of life, full of love; those who knew Pauline, adored Pauline.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Richard L. Byron, of Pepperell; six sons, Richard M. Byron and wife, Gail, Thomas L. Byron and wife, Allison, Mark P. Byron all of Dracut, James A. Byron and wife, Brenda of Hudson, N.H., Michael R. Byron of Davenport, Iowa, Kevin J. Byron and wife, Jeanne of Lowell; and daughter, Amy J. (Byron) and husband, Keith Normand of Plaistow, N.H.; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters, Ms. Virginia Hamelin, Mrs. John (Jacqueline) Honan, Ms. Suzanne Barnes, and Mrs. Michael (Jeannine) Marcotte. She was also sister of the late, Dennis and Leon Ouellette.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting Hours will be Thursday, March 21, 6 - 8 p.m. at The Hamilton-McGaffigan Funeral Home, 37 Main Street (Rte 113), Pepperell. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Funeral service will be private.
