Manchester, N.H. — William J. Lessor, Jr., 76, of Manchester, died March 21, 2013, after a period of declining health. He was born in Salem, on April 3, 1936, the son of William and Kathleen (Sullivan) Lessor.
William served in the U.S. Army and prior to retirement, had worked as a machine operator for United Shoe Co. in Beverly. He was a member of the Beverly-Salem Elks Club for over twenty years. In his spare time, William enjoyed playing golf and sailing he was also an avid reader.
He was predeceased by both parents; his sister, Marie Lessor; and one niece and one nephew. Family members include his twin sister, Jane O'Neil of Hampstead, N.H.; four nieces, Susan, Katie, Sharon and Ann; a nephew, David; several grand nieces and grand nephews; and close friend Don and his wife, Karen (the boss).
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm Street, Manchester, N.H., with funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
