Methuen — Deborah A. Ferland, 60, of Methuen passed away suddenly on Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital. Deborah was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Edgar and Annabelle (Perron) Pelletier. She was educated in Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1972.
Deborah was employed at Parlex Corporation in Methuen for over 35 years and will be greatly missed by her friends and co-workers. She loved vacationing at Salisbury Beach, which brought her great joy to be around her family and friends. She also enjoyed trips to Foxwoods with her loving husband and spending time with her sister-in-law Pat, but her most joyous times were with her loving grandchildren.
Deborah is survived by her husband of 35 years and her best friend since they were 13 years old, Daniel J. Ferland Sr. of Methuen; her loving children Daniel J. Ferland, Jr. of Exeter, NH, Jalayne E. Ferland of Methuen and Eric J. Ferland of North Andover. Deborah also leaves her four grandchildren, Nisaiah A. Garcia, Jeremiah A. Garcia, Samuel A. Garcia, and Ava E. Ferland. Deborah also leaves her siblings, Albert Butterworth of Newton, NH, Kevin Rydle and his wife Donna of Baldwin, ME, James Rydle III, and his wife Dawn of Old Orchard, Beach, ME, Gail Rydle of Biddeford, ME, Lisa Lavertue and her husband James of Kentucky, Darlene Rydle of Biddeford, ME, Charlene Rydle of Lawrence; Deborah also is survived by her sister-in-law Patricia Butterworth of Methuen, and many nieces and nephews. Deborah was also predeceased by her siblings Joyce Holmes and her husband Steven, George Butterworth, and Edgar Butterworth.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Friday, March 29 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her Funeral Service will take place on Saturday morning March 30 at a time to be announced, with interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery Methuen.
