Carole June (Lewis) Bocsi, 78

Methuen — Carole June (Lewis) Bocsi, 78, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 8, at her home in Methuen. Born in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Paltinavich) Lewis. Carole was raised and educated in Lawrence and attended nurses training in Framingham. She worked as a process checker at Western Electric until she retired in 1988.

Carole was predeceased by her husband, Alex Bocsi. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Despres and her husband, Raymond, and Marie Bocsi. She will be watching over her three grandchildren, Christopher Despres, Tierney Bocsi, and Lyndsey Bocsi, all of Methuen.

Carole enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren, who called her Mimi. Her grandchildren were her life, and she would do anything for them. Mimi was more than a grandmother; she was a best friend and a savior. Christopher, Tierney, and Lyndsey will hold Mimi forever in their hearts and will live to make her proud. They would like to thank her for everything, especially for picking up the phone to talk and listen whenever they called.
