Methuen, MA — Dominic F. Diodati, 90, of Methuen passed away Saturday March 15, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lawrence, son of the late Paul and Mary (Casale) Diodati. Dominic was raised and educated in Lawrence becoming a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1941, and later enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and bravely defended his country in WWII. Upon returning from war he worked in the Marum Knitting Mill’s as a machine mechanic for 32 years prior to retiring. In his free time, Dominic enjoyed all sports but most of all spending time with his family.
Dominic is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elena “Helen” (Santacroce) Diodati of Methuen; two daughters, Carol A. Ouellette and her husband, Mickey of Billerica, Susan M. and her husband, David; sisters, Rita Teoli of Lawrence, Flora Dizazzo of Shelton Conn., Gloria Nardozza of Lawrence; brothers, William Diodati of Methuen, Frank Diodati of Gloucester, Peter Diodati of Danville, N.H., Robert Diodati of Lawrence; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sisters, Adeline Tornatore, Mary Keamy; brothers, Jimmy Diodati, L. Victor Diodati, Flavio Diodati, and Raymond Diodati.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, March 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, March 19, at 10 a.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home with burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen.
