Georgetown — Louise Rebecca (Wood) Sprague, of Georgetown, Mass., beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, died on Sunday at Baker Katz Nursing Home in Haverhill, Mass.
Louise was born in Jonesboro, Maine, on July 28, 1932. She graduated from Steuben High School. She lived in Maine, until she and her husband moved to Massachusetts in 1953.
Louise worked as a homemaker until her children were in high school. She then worked at Styletek. She was last employed as a pharmacy technician at Georgetown Pharmacy, until her retirement.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Carla Cole and her husband, Robert, of Newton, N.H., and Wanda Sprague of Haverhill, Mass. Also among her survivors are her grandchildren, Craig Cole and his wife, Angela, of Chula Vista, Calif., Amanda LaGreca and her husband, Paul, of Georgetown, and Sarah Cole and her fiance, Tony Sclafani of Fremont, N.H. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Donovan Cole, MacKenzie Cole, Sofia LaGreca, Clara LaGreca, Kayla McKinney, and Kiana McKinney; and a special sister-in-law, Judy Sprague and her children Laura, Ronald Jr. and Kathy. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert Sprague; and brother-in-law, Ronald Sprague Sr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be offered on Thursday, at 7 p.m., at the Merton E. Roberts Jr. and Conte Funeral Home, 14 Pleasant Street, Georgetown. Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Milbridge, Maine, at a later date.
