Methuen — Lorraine Hartford-Logan, 59, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2014, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House with her loving family by her side. Lorraine was born in Rochester, NH, and was the daughter of the late Leon C. and Ora (Carr) Hartford and the widow of William H. Logan.
Born in Rochester, NH and raised in Methuen. She worked several years at both the Andover and Methuen CVS. She was employed as a program assistant for Fidelity House. She volunteered at the Methuen Senior Citizen Center at the thrift shop where she had many friends. She was a fan of both the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Her favorite color was purple and she was lovingly known as Nannie.
Lorraine is survived by her loving children, Melanie Forzese of Haverhill and David Forzese and his wife, Danielle, of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, sisters, Donna Borden and her husband, Peter, of Newton, NH, Kathleen (Hartford) Grimard of Methuen; her brothers, Wayne Hartford of Keene, NH, John Hartford of Salem, NH, and Jeffrey Hartford of Methuen; and her stepmother, Jean Hartford of North Andover; 1 great-grandchild, Harper Snipes of Raleigh, NC; her aunt, Nancy Fournier of NH; and her uncle, Edward Day and Laura (Hartford) Day of Newton, NH; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to memorial visiting hours on Saturday, April 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen; her memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
