Patricia McDonald, 74

Haverhill — Patricia McDonald, 74, of Haverhill, died on Thursday August 15, 2013, at Lawrence General Hospital. Patricia was born and raised in Jersey City, N.J., and came to Methuen at the age of 14. She was a 1957 graduate of Tenney High School, Methuen, and worked at Western Electric Co., North Andover, where she was recognized as the “Hello Charlie Girl.” Patti was a member of St. Monica Parish, Methuen.

The daughter of the late, Frances and Chester Bradley, her family members include two sons, William and Michael McDonald, and her sisters, Florence Axford of Methuen, Barbara and her husband, Raymond Dion of Londonderry, N.H., Judith and her husband, Leo McGrath of Methuen, Susan Bradley of Derry, N.H., and Eileen and her husband, Philip Lee of Methuen. Patti also leaves her brother, John and his wife, Linda Bradley of Candia, N.H.; and two grandsons. Patti’s family would like to thank her friends and staff at both Baker-Katz and Lakeview Nursing Homes for their kind and compassionate care extended to her.

ARRANGEMENTS: There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 22, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Monica Church, 212 Lawrence Street, Methuen. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Alliance of Mentally Ill, 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 6650, Woburn, MA 01801.
