Haverhill — Joan (Dow) Frost, 65, of Haverhill, died Friday, August 16, unexpectedly at her residence.
She was born in Haverhill, September 8, 1947, daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Branch) Dow and was educated in the Haverhill school system.
Until her retirement she was employed at the former Lucent Technologies for over 25 years. Mrs. Frost and her late husband were members of Hap’s Ally Clown Association, and for over 25 years they were officers and members of the Massachusetts National Guard Family Readiness Group, Newburyport.
She was the wife of the late George H. Frost who died in 2010 and sister of the late Howard Dow.
Her survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Frost of Lawrence, Karen Filpo of Philadelphia, Pa.; two sons, Michael and his wife, Stacy Frost, of Haverhill, George and his wife, Michelle Frost, of Woodsville, N.H.; two sisters, Peggy Milton of Ala., Brenda Kyrmazikis of Greece; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend her funeral service on Friday afternoon, August 23, at 1 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
