Armand D. Pelosi, 82


Haverhill — Armand D. Pelosi, 82, of Haverhill, passed away on Thursday, August 29, at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.

He was born in Haverhill on May 12, 1931, and was the son of the late Frank and Ameila (Fiorante) Pelosi.

Armand attended the Haverhill School System, and proudly served in the U.S. Army for four years stationed in Germany. He was employed at the former Western Electric for over 30 years, until his retirement.

Armand attended All Saints Church in Haverhill, enjoyed bowling, had a great sense of humor, and was a good husband and father. He was always willing to help out friends and neighbors.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Paula J. (Armbruster) Pelosi; his son, Dennis D. Pelosi and his wife, Jean, of Haverhill; two grandsons, David C. of Haverhill, and Michael A. of Waltham; brother, Rocco Pelosi and his wife, Helen, of Haverhill; sisters, Mary Byrholdt of Sacramento, Calif., and Virginia and her husband, Anthony Montisanti of Haverhill; as well as several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his funeral on Wednesday, September 4, at 10 a.m., from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer Street, Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in All Saints Church, Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
