Orange, MA — Allen Michael Bottai passed away Monday, September 2, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy illness.
Allen was raised and educated in Lawrence, Mass. He worked as a Support Tech Manager at Atlas Copco in Springfield, Mass., until his retirement last year.
Among the things that he enjoyed were being in the outdoors, bass fishing or canoeing. His greatest joy was being with his family and children, especially his little ones.
Al is survived by his wife of 11 years, Nancy (Gonynor) Bottai of Orange, Mass. His mother and her husband, Frances and Thomas Lynch of Brooksville, Fla. Son and his wife, Anthony and Nicole (Merrill) Bottai of Windham, N.H. Daughter and her husband, Michelle (Bottai) and John Racioppi of Salem, N.H. Son and his wife, Donald and Amanda Romano of Derry, N.H. Daughter and her husband, Nicole (Romano) and Luis De La Paz of Hopkins, S.C. Brother and his wife, David and Elise Bottai of Manchester, N.H. Sister and her husband, Patti (Bottai) and Byron Weinhold of Danville, N.H. Al leaves behind 9 wonderful grandchildren, with number 10 on the way. His sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Pat Moriaty of Leominster, Mass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
