ANDOVER — Suzanne J. (Reddish) Sherman, 86, of Andover, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
Suzanne was born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 7, 1927, to the late Harold and Frances (Roulston) Reddish. She earned a degree from Merrimack College at the age of 54, was a past president of the Andona Society of Andover, and an active member of the Andover Garden Club and the Andover Senior Center. Suzanne was an avid swimmer and a longtime member of the Andover YMCA.
She was the widow of the late Frank J. Sherman III with whom she celebrated sixty-one years of marriage. Suzanne was predeceased by her brother, Robert Reddish of Andover. Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Melissa S. Tassinari of North Bethesda, MD; her sons, Frank J. Sherman IV and partner, Christopher Darling, of Philadelphia, PA, and David R. Sherman and wife, Melissa Garand, of Andover. Also among her survivors are sister, Glenna Simpson and her husband, Robert, of New Jersey and five grandchildren, Michael, Emily and Sara, Nicholas and Sophia, and one great-grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
