Sandra J. (Bly) Thompson


Haverhill — Sandra J. (Bly) Thompson, 74, of Haverhill, passed away Wednesday, December 4, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

She was born in Brentwood, NH, on October 15, 1939, daughter of the late Jessie Mae Bly.

Sandra was educated in the Haverhill school system and attended Haverhill High School. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Fancy Heel Coverer in local shops and more recently at Vicor, Andover, as an Electronic Assembler.

A member of the Crescent Yacht Club, Mrs. Thompson enjoyed traveling, cooking for her family and friends and cherished time spent with her family.

Sandra was the wife of the late Warren Thompson Sr. who passed away in 1997 and her survivors include three sons, Warren and his wife, Eleanor Thompson, Michael his wife, Sandra Thompson, and Larry Thompson, all of Haverhill; a daughter, Stacy and her husband, Edward Hughes, of Methuen; six grandchildren, Jennifer Laroche, Joseph and Michael Thompson, Erin and Leah Hughes, Melissa Preston; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor and Andrew Laroche and Lucas Preston.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service Saturday, Dec. 7, at 11 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.
